Conversations in Jennyland

After much deliberation, I have decided to post the transcript of an AWESOME conversation I had recently. And by awesome, I mean it was a conversation that inspired awe…
(Warning: Not suitable for young eyes. Or really for the young ears that were in attendance when this transpired [namely, MINE], but it’s just too late…)

Looking through my [...]

Just reminiscing…

…about the wedding. Now that I put all of the proofs into an album (read: spent 5 hours sitting on the couch sifting through wedding pictures), I think I’ve chosen my favorite:

We had such a wonderful day, with really no setbacks. I was surrounded all morning and afternoon by the lovely ladies in my life, [...]

I know that this would probably be an ideal time to write a really raw memoir about my feeeeelings, [...]

Gift Registries

Now who the hell thought it would be a good idea to allow the BRIDE to LOG IN to her online gift registry, and make it viewable to her what items have been purchased off of said registry?
WHO THOUGHT THAT WAS A GOOD IDEA? Does no one know there are obsessive-compulsive brides out there who will feel [...]

Something Borrowed…

As I mentioned before, I love adding personal touches with meaningful stories to our wedding. Well, I have another AWESOME one:
Adam’s grandparents (Dirk’s mom & dad) have let us borrow the cake knife from THEIR WEDDING. Their wedding from 1956. Beautiful! Now I might just cry into the cake!

Wedding Dreams

What.
The.
F*&$%.
I do not like weird dreams, unless they are funny and I can recap them with Adam in the morning and have him tell me I’m crazy. And dreams about my wedding being a disaster are not funny, and I do NOT share them with Adam lest he really does begin to think I’m crazy [...]
